Raymond Sieben can best be described as creative and highly analytical; someone who can relate well to entrepreneurs, is empathetic, and a go-getter. He feels strongly about respecting his fellow humans and thinking in terms of a balanced partnership.
Sieben (1961) resides in the Dutch city of Roermond, and has an eclectic background in legal, commercial and management positions. After finishing his law studies in 1987, Sieben worked as a lawyer for the reputable European Institute of Public Administration, before becoming a lawyer with a Dutch SME consultancy organisation.
From 1993 to 1999 he was managing director of a subsidiary of the Dutch cable operator currently known as Ziggo. Since 1999, Sieben has been a self-employed entrepreneur, initially as an M&A specialist with Diligence. From 1999 to 2004, he assisted dozens of entrepreneurs with either purchasing or selling a business. During this period, he also established contacts with the importer/distributor of the exclusive home decoration brand ZACK (www.zack.info) in the Benelux. Within a few years, in his capacity as a consultant, he got to know and value this company in all its facets. This resulted in the former owner suggesting he purchased the business, which he actually did in 2004. Over the following years he always said that one day he would like to return to Diligence, which actually happened in 2016. Since then he has supervised many purchase and selling projects, achieving significant results.
