Rob Beeren

Born in 1955, living in Overveen (North Holland). Based on his education and background, he has an excellent command of the technical aspects of the acquisition process, while always giving the human element the attention it deserves. Broad interests, extensive network, and enjoys writing articles about his acquisition activities. He has a large number of publications on this subject to his name.

Graduated business economist / business administrator and chartered accountant. Worked for 7 years as an accountant, including one year in Denmark, primarily for international companies in various sectors. Subsequently chose a management position in the corporate sector for 12 years at subsidiaries of VNU, ITT, KPN, and Philips in the (new) media industry and at an American pharmaceutical company. Was regularly involved in mergers and acquisitions during both his accounting practice and his corporate career, a subject that has always held his special interest.

In 1998, Rob took the step toward independence by joining the founders of Diligence. He found his passion in acquisition consultancy, where all his knowledge, skills, and experience came together. He enjoys his work every day and considers guiding entrepreneurs through a process they have no experience with to be the most rewarding work there is.
In December 2015, he was elected “Acquisition Advisor of the Year 2015” by his peers in the market. Also served from 2017 to 2021 as chairman of the communications committee of the BOBB (Professional Organization for Specialists in Business Transfer).
